Finally

I have finally gotten my new shop up and running...yaaaaay

What that really means I have somewhere to sell all the wonderful polymer clay things I have been making.

I am having a great time playing around with the clay.
I am making jewelry right now but, I will branch out into other things in time.

I have a few Valentine Heart Necklaces listed.
I got a late start getting them into the shop so there will only be a few listed this year.

I have a few larger statement pieces done and listed with more to come.

I also have some southwestern pieces listed.
Here is one of quite a few bear necklaces that I have made.
You will never find any two bears exactly alike.  Some may be close but not exact.

So now that I have shown you some of the goodies that I have listed in my new shop I hope you will visit often to see what new pieces I have put into the shop.

Working Hard

I have been working hard on my Zibbet shop http://www.zibbet.com/LMRPhotography
I am adding new items to my shop as I get them done.  I have some new ideas for my photography shop.  Hopefully those will be coming out in the spring.

I am also working on opening a new and different (for me) shop that will also be on Zibbet.
The new shop will be Clay Creations.
I have gotten back into working with polymer clay and having a blast with it.
I am making necklaces of all sorts.  There will something for everyone.
I am going to be taking my product photos in the coming weeks so, that I can get the necklaces listed.

31 Oct. 2013

Well I learned a lesson with the resin.
I tried a couple different things just to see how they would come out.
One of the ideas was a bust lol.
I put a photo into a bottle cap and poured the resin over it...............wellllll it floated!!!
Lesson learned glue it down.
Any way now I know.

Went outside last night after dinner for a bit with my daughter and granddaughter.
Granddaughter was jumping on her trampoline and we were sitting in chairs on the deck.
All of a sudden my daughter says mom look up at the pole.
There was a hawk up there with his dinner.
I run inside to go get a camera........I got the P&S because it was the closest.
This hawk never budged the whole time we were taking pics of it and we got right up to the pole.

Looked out the window later and the hawk was gone but had left his dinner.
got up this morning and the carcass was gone.
My daughter checked the yard and the alley and no carcass so, sometime or other something came back and got it.

Well I just used resin for the first time.
I  hope that everything comes out good.

I am in the process of opening an new shop for my clay necklaces and key chains.
I had a bunch of clay pieces done and ready to be sealed with resin.
Most are in bottle caps to begin with.
Once I get used to working with the resin I will be using pendant trays, wood and bottle caps.
Stay tuned I will be posting pictures as soon as they are dry and ready to be listed.  :-)

I have been so bad at keeping up with my blog.
I am going to try to start posting more often.

So many things have gone on since I last posted.
I am now making necklaces with some of my photos.
I still offer photographs to.

I am also making photo key chains.

I am also in the process of making clay items and opening a shop for those items.
I enjoy making things and decided to go back to working with clay in addition to my photography.

I will post the link as soon as I get it opened.

State Bowling Tournament

Well my daughter and I went to the state bowling tournament this past weekend.
We left on Friday so we could get some shopping in before we bowled.

We went to a few places but, I just didn't really feel like shopping.  That is a big shock because we don't have many places in our tiny town to shop.
I bought 3 shirts at Old Navy and nothing anywhere else we went.

After we were done and went back to the hotel...we met up with a couple of our teammates and went to dinner.
Wellllll I hadn't eaten since we had McDonalds leaving town at 10 Am.
This was about 5Pm well anyway I ordered a Margarita.............hehe not a good thing on an empty stomach.!!

We ate at the Elephant Bar in ABQ. Uptown.
The food was great along with the company.  We then wandered over to Trader Joes and walked around.

We got back to the hotel at around 9pm and we all met up in our room for drinks.
We didn't last long but had a couple and some laughs.
I was hoping that a couple drinks would help me sleep since I don't sleep well in hotels.
Unfortunately it didn't help so I didn't get much sleep.  :-(

We got up and went to WECKS for breakfast............oh boy is that place great.... lots of good food at good prices.
My daughter stayed at the hotel to get some extra sleep and then get ready.

Went to the Isleta Casino bowling center.
That place is a trip....their lanes are staggered.  One pair back one pair forward so, you have to look back to make sure you don't walk up on someone already on the lanes.
They also have gates between each pair of lanes.

Everytime I had to shoot a 10 pin I hit that stupid wall with my knuckles......ouch.
I didn't bowl great but at least bowled my average.
We bowled 6 games.

When we were done we went back to the hotel to clean up and change.
We had a before dinner drink with a couple of the ladies.
We went to dinner at the Cooperage.........oh my they have an awesome salad and soup bar.
Then had prime rib...........talk about tender and done just right.
Had water and a Margarita with dinner.
There were 12 of at dinner and we had a great time laughing.  I haven't laughed that hard in a looooong time.
I am sure they were pretty glad when we left hehehe.

We went to the liquor store to get some more margarita mix and something for my daughter to drink since she finished hers and doesn't like margaritas.

When we got back to the hotel 6 others came down to our room and we had some more margaritas and talked and laughed some more.
The rooms had a small wet bar area......just perfect for mixing maragritas.

We had to be up and at the bowling center by 8 but it didn't stop us.
About 11:45 pm we figured that we better break it up and get some sleep.
Plus we didn't want anyone to call the desk because we were making to much noise hehe.

Again I was hoping that a couple margaritas might help me get to sleep.
Hahaha nope I tossed and turned slept a little but was awake a lot.

I got up before the alarm even went off at 6:30 am.

Got ready and packed as we wouldn't be back to the room again.

We get to the bowling center and got a doughnut and got ready to bowl.
My first game was a few pins under average and I thought oh here we go............it's going to be a bad day.
Well I came back with 2 more over average games so I  bowled a bit over average.

There was gong to be one more shift after us and that would be that end of the tourny.
We were sitting in 4th place before they bowled.

The day was windy and overcast while we were bowling.
The wind was getting worse as the day went on............yes we get a lot of wind in the spring in NM.. but driving in it stinks.

Stopped got gas and were on the road around 1 pm.
The wind was blowing me all over the road.........while we were in the interstate.
Coming at me sideways so I was hoping that when we got off onto the state road it would be at my back.
No such luck............there were times that I couldn't even see the road because of the blowing red dirt.

So here I am trying not to hit some of the huge tumbleweeds coming across the road.  Of course it is not easy to try to miss them.
I plowed a couple huge ones with the corner of my Jeep...............well I bet that jacked the paint I say to my daughter.  Yeah but what can you do...nothing.

At one point we were laughing sooooo hard watching the tumbleweeds bouncing down the road.  They looked like kangaroo bouncing up and down.

Today my arms are a bit sore from holding onto the wheel but, we got home safe and sound.

We had a great time this year.

Love bowling and having fun with great friends..........just can't beat that.
Well besides getting out of town for a couple days.  :-)

Here are a few shots I managed to get on the way home.
